Webbing can be used both as one of the garment accessory products and as one of the textiles. There are two primary ways to color webbing, one is the more widely used dyeing (conventional dyeing), the first is to put the webbing in a chemical dye solution treatment. The other way is to use paint, the paint is made into tiny insoluble colored particles in order to adhere to the fabric (fiber raw material original dyeing is not included).

Dye is a more complex organic substances, it has many varieties.

1, acid dyes, mostly for protein fibers and nylon fibers and silk, etc.. Its characteristics are colorful, but poor washing degree, dry cleaning degree is excellent, in the natural color dyeing is more widely used.

2, cationic dyes (alkaline fuel), applicable to acrylic, polyester, nylon and fiber and protein fibers. Its characteristics are colorful, very suitable for man-made fibers, but for natural cellulose and protein fabrics with poor washing and light color resistance.

3, direct dyes, suitable for cellulose fiber fabrics, washing fastness is relatively poor, lightfastness varies, but after modification of the direct dyes of the washing chromaticity will be a good improvement.

4, disperse dyes, suitable for viscose, acrylic, nylon, polyester, etc., washing fastness varies, polyester is better, viscose is worse.

5, azo fuel (naftal dyes), suitable for cellulose fabrics, colorful, more suitable for bright colors.

6, reactive dyes, mostly used in cellulose fiber fabrics, less for protein. Characterized by brilliant color, light resistance, washing, conflict resistance is better.

7, sulfur dyes, suitable for cellulose fiber fabrics, dull color, the first navy, black and brown, light resistance, washing resistance is excellent, chlorine bleaching resistance is poor, long-term storage of fabrics will damage the fiber.

8, reduction dyes, suitable for cellulose fiber fabrics, light resistance, washability is very good, and resistance to chlorine bleaching and other oxidative bleaching.

9, paint, suitable for all fibers, it is not a dye, but through the resin mechanically attached to the fiber, dark fabrics will become hard, but the set of color is very accurate, most of the light resistance is good, the washing degree is outstanding, especially in the middle and light colors.
